July 15 MEC Toronto Century Ride Beautiful riding on a 100KM or 60KM (approximate) routes that takes you on the quiet rural roads of scenic Oro. The event starts and finishes at Horseshoe Resort. The staggered start will begin at 9:00AM and close at 9:30AM.  Upon finishing, celebrate your accomplishment with food, drink and the camaraderie of other riders at the Après Ride at Horseshoe Resort.

July 15 Summer Epic 8 Hour MTB Relay Head to Hardwood Ski & Bike in Barrie for a fun, social and challenging MTB relay event. All ages and abilities.

August 12 – 14 Tour For Kids An epic cycling adventure that raises funds in support of kids living with and beyond cancer. This 3-day, 300 to 600 km tour of quiet country roads north of Barrie is a challenging and rewarding experience. Tour For Kids isn’t just about conquering cancer. It’s about making a meaningful, immediate and lasting difference in the lives of kids with cancer today.

August 26 Cycle Camelot Join the annual Cycle Camelot Ride in the Heart of Georgian Bay and help raise funds to support the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre. Starting and finishing in Penetanguishene, this year’s ride will feature routes through Penetanguishene and Tiny Township. 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and 10 km race options.

September 24 – 25 Ontario By Bike A weekend tour and off-road rail trail ride in Simcoe County will begin and end in Barrie. Hotel accommodations, lunches and more included on this fully supported small group tour. Just bring your bike and ride.

September 11 Barrie 2 Baycrest Celebrate the 21st annual Barrie 2 Baycrest ride. Travel through the scenic countryside north of the city, and experience a convivial atmosphere and post-ride festivities. Riders can choose between a 100 km or 50 km route. Costs include limited edition jersey, breakfast, lunch and two tickets to post-ride dinner.

September 15 – 17 Centurion Canada Join in this popular event with 25, 50 and 100 km rides and hill climb races. Attracting thousands of participants and spectators, the September Centurion is based out of Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood.

September 24 Fall Epic 8 Hour MTB Relay All about the camaraderie, sportsmanship and the gritty, hard-core enjoyment of riding with friends.  The Epic 8 Hour relay is a personal and team challenge to complete as many laps as possible. September 30 Growling Beaver Brevet In Collingwood, the Growling Beaver Brevet is an amazing event to celebrate cycling and to help people with Parkinson’s to live well today. All fundraising proceeds will go to support the joint work of the Davis Phinney Foundation and ParkinGo Wellness Society.

October 3 MEC Century Ride Join us for the 3nd annual MEC Barrie 50 km and 100 km ride this fall. This event showcases the beauty of the Hills of Oro-Medonte. The ride will be an open road loop starting and ending at the Oro Fairgrounds. This route is a challenging one, but a great goal to work towards and end the riding season with a fun event!
